The Pipiwai Trail is located on the island of Maui in Hawaii.
One of the best hikes within the only national park on Maui, the Haleakalā National Park, specifically in the Kīpahulu District, which is on the southeastern coast of the island.
Pipiwai Trail is a must-hike for first time visitors to Maui with lush tropical scenery, bamboo forest, and impressive waterfalls, including the Waimoku Falls.
The trailhead can be accessed from the Kīpahulu Visitor Center, which is near the end of the Hāna Highway (Route 360), about 12 miles past the town of Hana.
