Pipiwai Trail Oheo Gulch
Off the Pipiwai Trail head is also the trail head for the Kuloa Point Trail, an easy, half-mile loop that offers spectacular ocean views and stunning views of the Ohe’o Gulch, a series of waterfalls and terraced pools, referred to as the Seven Sacred Pools.
The breathtaking sequence of tiered pools and cascading waterfalls stretch from the rainforest to the ocean!
The “seven” is a misnomer, you can count many more pools.
The upper pools are smaller, with crystal clear water reflecting the vibrant green foliage. The middle pools are larger with smaller cascades.
The lower pools are the most iconic and the largest. Watching the waterfalls tumble down from the cliffs above is mesmerizing!
